As you can tell, the ocean and its power are one of the themes that I enjoy trying to

The Wave
capture on my canvases. Because the majority of my work is created using only my hands and not a traditional paint brush, I love to try to re-create the flow of water with my hands. The Wave has left my walls and is now enjoying a new home.
This painting was inspired by a visit to Ocean Beach, California, which is a lovely

Ocean Beach
community in the San Diego area. Living on the west coast, we are blessed with some amazing color mixes with our sunsets. “Ocean Beach” has now moved to a new home.
I am pleased to announce a few sales of some of my work.

Fall is coming to San Diego, which means last
week its nearly a 100 degrees and this week, who knows? But the nights are definitely cooler and the days are getting shorter. Enjoy these two new paintings and be sure to let me know if they inspire any thoughts from you.
Here is another work that I have recently taken a “fresh approach” to. Click on the image to get a larger view of this special mountain place. Close your eyes and try to picture yourself dancing.
As often as my schedule allows I attend the Fusion Art retreats in Los Angeles
with Rassouli. Take a look at his website and I think you will understand why I love these Saturday sessions (www.rassouli.com) Here are some work that I started during some of the previous Fusion Art Retreats.
From time to time, I am drawn back to a painting I thought I had finished. Sometimes,
after looking at a painting over the course of many months, or in some cases years, I get a little voice in my head that tells me there is something else in the painting that I need to bring out into the light. Here are two examples of what I am talking about. Enjoy and please post your comments.
